The Author

Anthony Michael Zinno Sr. is a Rhode Island–based author of supernatural horror and nonfiction science. Born in Providence, Rhode Island, in 1995, his work is shaped by a deep sense of place, family, and a lifelong fascination with the unseen forces that influence human experience. His writing moves between shadow and wonder, exploring fear, belief, and the mysteries of both the natural world and the human mind.

Zinno’s journey as an author began with a passion for storytelling rooted in atmosphere, emotion, and psychological depth. Drawn to the horror genre for its ability to confront what lies beneath ordinary life, he developed a voice centered on possession, memory, and the lingering presence of darkness within familiar spaces. His supernatural fiction often explores the vulnerability of innocence, the strain of faith under fear, and the lasting consequences of encounters with the unknown. Through works such as Whispers and Wings, Dreams That Follow, and The Offering Below, he has established a body of horror fiction that blends emotional realism with unsettling dread.

Alongside his fiction, Zinno writes accessible nonfiction science that reflects his enduring curiosity about the universe and humanity’s place within it. He is currently pursuing a degree in science, an academic path that informs and enriches his nonfiction works, including Whispers in the Sky, Black Holes for the Inquisitive Mind, and Stellar Blueprints. Together, his fiction and nonfiction share a common thread: the search to understand what lies beyond immediate perception.

A family man through and through, Zinno draws constant inspiration from fatherhood, faith, and the responsibilities of everyday life. He is the devoted husband to his wife and father to his son, grounding his creative work in love, protection, and imagination. For Zinno, storytelling is not only an artistic pursuit but a way to explore fear and wonder while remaining anchored in the meaning of home and family.

Anthony Zinno Sr. is the author of six published books spanning supernatural horror and science nonfiction. His work invites readers to step into darkness, look upward in wonder, and question what might exist just beyond the boundaries of the known.
